Shimza‘s – new label imprint Kunye – is a platform that connects South Africa’s established and unsung and it’s a raising global recognition for the rich South African musical heritage, with a focus on the development of our talented African producers. On stage Shimza, Kabza de Small, Sef Kombo, Mörda Darque, Shamiso, Tekniq e Tristan Urwin (Kunye stage); Shimza (classic house vinyl set), Sir lsg, Trancemicsoul b2b Dj Buhle (tgthr stage).

Afro-tech series KUNYE – means “together” in the vernacular; it’s a platform to unite Afro-tech lovers who want to let their hair down and chill in the ambiance. Having started as a small gathering of about 25 people, the festival has successfully grown to just over 4000 people with shows in different South African provinces. The show has also reached the global market with shows in Kenya, Zimbabwe, Paris London, Ibiza, and Albania.
