“The K&D Sessions”, signed by the Austrians Kruder & Dorfmeister and released by !K7 Records in 1998 was not just a compilation that sold over a million copies: it was a collection that really captured the zeitgeist, the spirit of the times.
For its 25th birthday, “The K&D Sessions” returns remastered and in a limited edition (6 LPs / 3 CDs) accompanied by a 40-page booklet of previously unreleased and archive material. This new compilation edition contains among others the epic remixes of Madonna‘s ‘Nothing Really Matters’ (11 minutes long), Ronie Size‘s ‘Heroes’, U.F.O.‘s “L.O.V.E.” and much more.
In 2025 Kruder & Dorfmeister will celebrate this important anniversary – which coincides with K7 Records’ 50th birthday – with a tour that will take them around Europe. Let’s hope to have them in Africa soon!
