International Music Summit (IMS), the premier platform for thought leadership in electronic music, announces its much-anticipated nighttime program for the inaugural edition of IMS Dubai. The announcement also includes the addition of a range of new speakers representing key industry leaders, artists, and innovators across Middle East North Africa (MENA), offering unparalleled insights into the intersection of music, finance, and technology in the region, and cementing Dubai’s place at the heart of electronic music’s cultural and business growth.

Supported by key partners AlphaTheta and Beatport, IMS Dubai’s evening program takes place across 14-15 November 2024 and will be hosted at Soho Garden’s Hive, Garden, and Playroom venues, as well as Farrago and Ginger Moon at W Dubai – Mina Seyahi, allowing delegates to experience the dynamic energy of Dubai’s nightlife. The summit will feature exclusive showcases and underground sets from international artists including Deep Dish, Echonomist and STRYV as well as regional based talent including CosmicatHoneytrapMo Ezabyy, Parvané, Yas Meen Selectress and more, guaranteeing line-ups that reflect the diverse sound of the region and beyond. In addition, Beatport will present a special sunset live stream event at Ginger Moon featuring a secret unannounced lineup.


New topics and speakers announced as part of the summit program include a Keynote Interview with Swiss electronic music producer and DJ duo AdriatiqueJohn Saliba (Sekoya / Soho Garden, President/Founder, Lebanon) will share insights learned from over 18 years of experience in the entertainment business and his vision to create an immersive, urban experience for the people of Dubai. Elie Saba (Addmind, Managing Partner, Lebanon) will discuss his role driving growth and expansion at one of the leading hospitality companies in Dubai with over 22 brands and venues, in conversation with Maria May (CAA, Head of Electronic, UK). The summit will also feature a deep dive into The Evolution of the MENA Music Industry.


Other newly announced speakers representing some of the industry’s key players include James Craven (Live Nation Middle East; President, UK) Ahmad Alghawanmeh (Sony Music Entertainment; Vice President, Revenue & Growth Strategy, Jordan), Hassan Alwan (Boogie Box; Founder, Iraq), &Friends (Artist, USA) and Maria Malasangre (SoundSisters Morocco, Founder, Brazil) who will provide invaluable insights into the future of electronic music in MENA and the broader global industry.
This edition of IMS marks the summit’s strategic entry into the MENA region, following successful summits in Los Angeles, Shanghai, Singapore, and Malta.
