Eran Hersh is a Miami-based DJ and producer, widely recognized as one of the top rising talents in America’s electronic music scene. With a deep passion for music that began in his youth, Eran Hersh Afro and tribal house elements with his Middle Eastern roots, creating a signature sound that captivates audiences. In 2023, Eran Hersh reached new heights with his collaboration with Madonna on the hit “Sorry” cementing his place on the global stage and leading to sold-out shows worldwide. With releases on labels like Insomniac Records, Armada, Spinnin’ Records, and Ultra, Eran Hearsh continues to solidify his reputation.

In January 2025 he remixed “Failed You”, Bush B4 Me, Zekete ft. Kali Mija track for My Other Side of the Moon label. Eran Hersch music has generated millions of streams, with over 70 million plays on Spotify and a loyal.

Who and who inspired you to become a DJ?
I was deeply inspired by legends like Carl Cox and Sasha and – of course – Tiësto played a huge role in igniting my passion. Their energy and creativity on the decks made me realize the transformative power of music.

Which kind of music did you listen to when you were a teenager?
Back in my teenage years, I mostly listened to pop and electronic music. Michael Jackson’s catchy beats and vibrant synths laid the foundation for my musical taste and eventually led me to explore deeper, more nuanced sounds.

And now?
Today, my taste has evolved into a melting pot of styles. I love blending modern electronic sounds, deep house grooves, and Afro-tech rhythms that keep the energy high and the dancefloor moving.

Which platform do you use to listen to music?
I use a variety of platforms: Spotify for daily playlists, SoundCloud for discovering underground gems, and Beatport when I’m on the hunt for the freshest club releases.

Why is Africa becoming so important in the electronic music scene?
Africa is a powerhouse of rhythm and diversity, and its influence is undeniable. My roots trace back to North Africa, Morocco, so I’ve always felt a strong connection to the vibrant beats and soulful energy emerging from the continent. This fusion of traditional and modern electronic sounds is reshaping the global music scene.

Who are your favorite DJs and producers these days?
Currently, I’m really inspired by Black Coffee, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and Eric Prydz. Their ability to craft unique soundscapes while keeping the dancefloor alive is something I strive to achieve in my own sets.

What are your favorite clubs and festivals?
When it comes to clubs, I love the vibe at Surf Club Dubai (a fantastic beach club), Cova Santa in Ibiza, and Soluna in Toronto. As for festivals, Zamna and EDC always deliver unforgettable experiences, and I have to add Untold to that list. Each venue and festival have their own unique magic that keeps me inspired.

What is the most important record in your box?
The most important track in my life has to be my “Sorry” collaboration with Madonna. It’s a record that not only defines a pivotal moment in my career but also encapsulates the creative risks that have shaped who I am as an artist.

What’s your all-time favorite track?
It’s hard to pick just one, but if I had to choose, it would be Nadia Ali’s “Love Story” (remixed by Sultan & Ned Shepard). That track always brings the perfect blend of emotion and energy, resonating with every set I play.

What are your favorite food, actor, football team, and TV series?
I’ve got a few favorites off the top of my head. Food: Asian fusion; actor: Jean-Claude Van Damme—there’s just something iconic about his style; football team: I’m a big fan of Bayern Munich. TV Series: Game of Thrones will always hold a special place for me.

What are your hobbies?
When I’m not behind the decks, I love playing FIFA on PlayStation, belting out tunes at karaoke sessions, and kicking back to watch a good movie.

What upcoming projects and label work do you have?
I’ve got some exciting projects on the horizon, including a series of new singles that fuse modern electronic sounds with Afro-tech influences. I’m also in the early stages of launching a label aimed at pushing creative boundaries and bridging global sounds—so stay tuned for big things!

It’s a top label in the Afro house scene with great reputation.

What is your lifelong dream?
My lifelong dream is to create music that transcends borders and unites people from all walks of life. I want my tracks to serve as the soundtrack to unforgettable moments—a reminder that, despite our differences, we all share a universal love for music.
