It’s all encapsulated in the “Echoes of the Moon, Ultimate Hits Collection” compilation, the new collection released on Friday 7th February 2025 by Mozambican label My Other Side of The Moon and featuring 25 tracks produced between 2020 and 2024 by among others Notre Dame, Eran Hersh, Kasango, Argento Dust, Neil Amarey, Dsf, Savage & SHë, Dj Tomer & Ricardo, Dr Feel, Lazarusman, Dorian Craft, Jamiie, Hyena, Joezi and Caiiro. The result? A musical journey that has matured over five years and still sounds very relevant today.
My Other Side of the Moon is a label that sublimates the meeting of various artists on a continent as ancient and mysterious as Africa. A label that unites and enhances organic and afro house, melodies and electronic sounds, cloaking them with just the right amount of mystery. My Other Side of the Moon ranges from South Africa to Kenya, from Brazil to Greece, because music is by definition a universal language, and that of this label is even more so.
