Afro house duo Frigid Armadillo join esteemed SA icon Sun-El Musician for ‘Sunshine’ out February 2025 on Defected. Known for their breakout track, ‘Roam in a Day’, which was supported heavily by Black Coffee, as well as ‘Yara’ more recently with Francis Mercier, Frigid Armadillo have quickly established themselves as ones to watch.

Continuing their rise to the top, they join forces with one of SA’s hottest artists Sun-El Musician, whose extreme popularity in his home country is not to be underestimated. The artists previously collaborated on 2024’s ‘feelings’ alongside Miči, now developing their sound further for this anthemic outing; ‘Sunshine’ marks a bold direction for Defected, with its unique beat structure and rich synth patterns creating a striking, hypnotic record that is deeply infectious from the first listen.
