The upcoming edition of Sónar Lisboa will take place on 11th, 12th and 13th April 2025, in the Parque Eduardo VII, in the heart of the Portuguese capital. The festival marks the kick off for the 2025 season and strengthens Lisbon’s reputation as a hub for cutting-edge electronic music over one unforgettable weekend.
This first lineup release places a strong emphasis on classic techno and house, with Marcel Dettmann’s new live set My Own Shadow, DJ sets by Anetha and Nina Kraviz and underground selectors ISAbella and BASHKKA b2b Ogazón. There’s also a brand-new audiovisual show from Max Cooper.
The festival will also feature artists known for breaking boundaries and crossing genres, in a celebration of contemporary club culture and the enduring legacy of rave. German pioneers Modeselektor will deliver one of their wide-ranging DJ sets, and Gabber Eleganza will bring his The Hakke Show to Portugal for the first time. Other highlights include multidisciplinary artist Juliana Huxtable, iconic French DJ Jennifer Cardini, Madrid’s rave star Héctor Oaks, emerging Brazilian DJ Clementaum, the critically acclaimed selector JASSS, and the ultra-fast bass stylings of NOIA and Amor Satyr & Siu Mata.
Sónar Lisboa 2025 is two festivals in one: Sónar by Day (Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th) and Sónar by Night (Friday 11th and Saturday 12th. Both will take place in the green, urban oasis of Parque Eduardo VII, with different formats adapted to the complementary lineups.
Sónar Lisboa will kick off the 2025 season for Sónar, which will then bring the best of the electronic music scene to Sónar Istanbul on May 9th and 10th, celebrating its 9th edition in the Turkish city, before the 32nd edition of Sónar in Barcelona on June 12th, 13th and 14th.
