With just a few hours to go until the event starts, it is officially ADE-week. This year promises an extraordinary lineup of talent, insights, and cultural experiences, making ADE 2024 the most wide-ranging and immersive edition to date. With the final programs confirmed last week, here’s a look at what attendees can expect from Wednesday 16th until Sunday 20th, October 2024.

Conference lineup finalised with over 500 speakers
Last week, ADE’s highly anticipated conference program was finalised, featuring an eclectic mix of industry leaders, innovators, and artists. The most recent confirmations include KI/KI, Duncan Stutterheim, and The Blessed Madonna, as well as earlier additions Amelie Lens x Charlotte de Witte, Marlon Hoffstadt, Reinier Zonneveld, Tomorrowland co-founder Michiel Beers and many more. With over 500 speakers confirmed, ADE 2024 is set to deliver a week of unparalleled insight into the electronic music industry for all ADE Pro members.

ADE Lab: Pioneering development and collaboration
The latest announcements for ADE Lab—a space for aspiring DJs, producers, and industry professionals to grow their skills and careers—include a range of engaging sessions. Highlights feature RA Exchange Live with Patrick Mason, a vinyl showcase hosted by Chuckie, and a career-building masterclass led by Lilly Palmer. Other sessions include creating live shows with BIIANCO and demo drops with industry icons such as Dave Clarke’s Demolition XXVII. Designed for the next generation of electronic music talent, ADE Lab provides invaluable hands-on experiences and networking opportunities for anyone looking to break into the industry.

Five official ADE Opening Concerts
ADE 2024 opens with five Opening Concerts as part of its Arts & Culture offering, showcasing exceptional collaborations across different artistic fields. These concerts will take place simultaneously in a series of often unique locations, including museums and churches, elevating the connection between music and art. Eefje de Visser will perform at Van Gogh Museum, Nick Verstand & Cello Octet Amsterdam will take over Door Open Space, and Greetje Bijma and Oceanic will be joined by LUXE at BIMHUIS. Additionally, Metropole Orkest & Miguel Atwood-Ferguson will pay tribute to J Dilla at Melkweg, while 24classics presents a rendition of Philip Glass by Lavinia Meijer & Nikki Hock. ADE maintains its title of the world’s biggest Electronic Music Festival with over 1,000 events set to take place in more than 200 venues and 3000+ artists performing at this edition.

ADE Beats
ADE Beats is back and expanding its scope! Set to unfold at Felix Meritis on ADE Saturday, the international sub-conference for hip-hop, bass, and beats will feature insights from leading artist managers, a keynote by the president of powerhouse label EMPIRE, and talks with key figures from the grime and dancehall scenes. This year’s program is laid out for you to engage first hand with industry pros. And that’s just the beginning! 

ADE Green
The global music industry has the opportunity to influence more than just entertainment. With the growing impacts of the climate crisis, there’s a chance for the industry to play a bigger role by integrating climate justice into its values and actions. In this article, ADE Green explores what this may look like from the perspective of artists and festival organisers.

ADE Startups
ADE Startups is the start-up program running alongside the ADE Pro conference. It focuses on fostering a platform for the next generation of entrepreneurs in music, tech, entrepreneurship, and innovation. It brings together members of the music, tech, and start-up ecosystem to discuss building the future.

ADE App
