Two important news for Brazilian DJ and producer Pedro de Maia, known to everyone by the pseudonym Mochakk. The first one concerns the opening of his club OBLIQO in his hometown Sorocaba, a municipality located in the state of São Paulo: not just a club, but a true cultural centre that aims to celebrate electronic music and educate the local community on the subject.
Inside OBLIQO, the Gallery Space is a true tribute to electronic music, with rotating exhibitions and alternating posters, vinyl covers and more, as well as workshops with some of the best professionals in the field. The club as such will enjoy the sound quality guaranteed by 4VIAS Professional Audio and B&C loudspeakers, just as its aesthetics and design will guarantee a great visual impact, all inspired by Brutalist architecture.
The official opening of OBLIQO took place September 2024, Friday 6th, with a sold-out launch party celebrating the release of Mochakk’s latest EP ‘Locomotiva Ibiza 2099 – Part 2’, Mochakk’s new release for CircoLoco Records, consisting of the three tracks ‘No Boys Allowed’ (OG House Mix), ‘Estribeira’ and ‘No Boys Allowed’ (Street Mix’).
