In a blend of musical talent and the excitement of football, Italian electronic trio MEDUZA, GRAMMY® nominated OneRepublic and German singer-songwriter Leony have unveiled the official UEFA EURO 2024 song ‘FIRE’. Alongside its debut, UEFA has launched the #LightYourFire campaign, an initiative encouraging fans to share their passions and celebrate the union of music and football, for a chance to win tickets to the tournament’s final in July. 

UEFA’s launch of the #LightYourFire campaign coincides with the new song, written by Ryan Tedder and produced by MEDUZA, encouraging fans across the globe to come together and share what fuels their passion and fire within, through creative videos set to the song’s rhythm. This initiative offers fans a meaningful way to connect with the spirit of UEFA EURO 2024 through football and music. Participants also have the chance to win tickets to the tournament’s grand finale in Berlin on 14 July, adding to the excitement.

As the anticipation for UEFA EURO 2024 escalates, MEDUZA, OneRepublic, and Leony are set to amplify the event’s climax by performing the official anthem live at the closing ceremony. MEDUZA has also created a full auditory experience, a series of compositions inspired by the anthem to enrich TV sequences, walk-on music for teams entering the pitch, and key moments like the trophy presentation, ensuring that the spirit of EURO 2024 resonates in every aspect of the event, uniting music and football.

Additionally, throughout UEFA EURO 2024, there will be an official playlist available on all digital steaming platforms, with weekly updates and specially curated take overs, providing a dynamic and immersive musical backdrop to the tournament.  

UEFA EURO 2024 is scheduled from 14 June to 14 July 2024 in ten host cities across Germany: Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, and Stuttgart. Showcasing the pinnacle of European football in a festival that brings together fans from every corner of the globe.
