Released digitally and on vinyl, “Tyla” (Epic Records/Sony Music) is the title of the eponymous debut album by Tyla, the South African superstar who won the latest Grammy Awards in the Best African Music category. It’s an album that boasts collaborations with significant names in the global music scene including Travis Scott, Tems, Gunna, Becky G, Skillibeng, and Kelvin Momo.

The music video for “Art” – included in the album – was directed by Nabil and has already surpassed 2 million views; in Nabil’s portfolio are notable music videos for Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Dua Lipa, and many others.

Tyla’s songs offer an innovative interpretation of pop and R&B, enriched by the energy of Amapiano – a typically South African music genre – and by a production approach that conveys a sense of freshness in every track.
