“Tomorrow Comes The Harvest” was the first collaboration between Afro-beat creator & jazz legend and nigerian drummer Tony Allen (20 July 1940 – 30 April 2020) and Detroit techno DJ & Producer Jeff Mills.

Mills, driven by a deep desire to honor their previous collaborations, reconfigures the project into a trio once more. Joining him are Jean-Phi Dary, a veteran keyboardist who had been an integral part of their earlier performances, and the tabla virtuoso Prabhu Edouard. Together, they embark on a musical journey that embraces the essence of improvisation and creative exploration.

The project showcases the culmination of Mills’ and Allen’s shared vision, combining their respective backgrounds in Detroit Techno and Afrobeat to create an innovative musical experience based on improvisation.

To commemorate the release of “Evolution” LP – out September 8th, 2023 on Axis Records – Tomorrow Comes The Harvest is thrilled to announce their world tour for 2023-2024. Audiences around the globe will have the opportunity to witness the electrifying live performances that seamlessly blend traditional and futuristic sounds, paying homage to Tony Allen’s immense contribution to the project.
