Mayorkun, the Nigerian Afrobeatz sensation, has announced that he will be embarking on a tour of Europe in 2023. The “Mayor of Lagos” shared the news on his Instagram page, revealing that the tour will cover several prominent cities across the continent. The tour will commence on April 28 in Prague, Czech Republic, and will feature many of Mayorkun’s well-known songs.

The European leg of the tour will include stops in cities such as Naples and Padova in Italy, Oslo in Norway, and Copenaghen. Mayorkun will play in legendary venues, including  Razzmatazz in Barcelona Sala Chango in Madrid and Gretchen in Berlin: in Germany, Mayorkun’s fans can see his performance at Die Kantine (Koln) and Uebel & Gefährlich (Hamburg).

Last Mayorkun gig in Europe is at KOKO, London, in the United Kingdom. The Lagos based artist Mayorkunhas caused an international stir with the release of the 12-track ‘Back In Office’, which follows on from 2018 debut album ‘The Mayor Of Lagos’ and sees Mayorkun continue with the mayoral theme as he re-enters a new term as mayor of his hometown.

With 5 million IG followers, the charismatic 28 year old has emerged as one of the countries biggest stars since being signed by Davido in 2016.
